heavenly chocolate smoothie

a healthy and delicious way to start your day

Ingredients

  • ⅓ - ½ frozen banana
  • 6oz pure almond milk (read ingredients to ensure no gums, sweetners, etc)*
  • 2-3 ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp lacuma powder
  • 1 tbsp maca powder
  • 2 tbsps raw cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tbsp chia powder
  • 1-2 tbsps raw almond butter or nut butter*

Instructions

  1. Put banana and ice in (small) nutribullet blender
  2. Cover with your choice of “milk”
  3. Add all other ingredients
  4. Blend until creamy

Notes

*To make a delicious nut free version, substitute almond milk for coconut or oat milk, and sunflower seed butter in place of almond butter.
